GENERAL ISSUES

Do I need to have any experience or technically proficient
when using Joomla?

No for Beginners Course. Our Joomla training starts at beginners' level and adjust accordingly during the day to cater the needs of attendees. Any prior Microsoft Office knowledge would help attendees understand certain concepts and terminologies faster, but not essential.

For Advanced course, there is a prerequisite for basic Joomla knowledge or have attended Beginners course.

 


What should I bring to class?

Own notebook/laptop with wi-fi connection and able to install software locally. Tablets will have limitations during practical sessions. Details will be given in joining instructions.

 


Will there be hands-on practical?

Definitely, this is a workshop type Joomla training. At the end of the day, attendees will have a live Joomla website.

 


What are the payment methods?

Payment can be made via secured Paypal payment gateway - Paypal account or any major credit cards.

Payment can also be made by cheque or internet transfer. Details are available following registration.

Please note that registration is not confirmed until payment is received by our bank.


Do I get a refund if I cancel my registration?

There is a S$30 administrative charge per attendee for each cancellation. We suggest a postponement instead of cancellation as there is no administrative charge. See below.

You will receive a refund depending on the time of your cancellation:
4 weeks before course commencement: 100% refund less admin. charge
3 weeks before course commencement: 50% refund less admin. charge
2 weeks before course commencement: no refund

We reserve the right to cancel a course(with a full refund) due to low enrollment or other factors.


Can I postpone my Joomla training course?

Yes. This is a better option as there is no administrative charge.

Maximum postponement period is 2 sessions inclusive of originally booked class.

How long is this Joomla training course?

  • Each module is 1 day
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm with lunch break and 2 short coffee breaks
  • Timings for breaks may vary and can be flexible


What is the class size?

Small class size. This allows a better and more personal learning experience. Each attendee can participate more as well as ask more question and get more help from the trainer. It also allows the trainer to go deeper in his explanation.


What will be covered in the course?

Beginner - For those with limited or zero knowledge or experience

Can I attend 1 or 2 of the advanced topics instead of all?

You are encouranged to attend all topics as some may be linked to others. Besides, it would be beneficial to have more knowledge of common advanced topics.


How much does this training cost?

Can I claim PIC/ICV for this training cost?

An invoice clearing stating that it is for training, can be issued for this purpose. Any claim is subject to meeting the legislative rules of PIC/ICV. As such we cannot guarantee a successful claim as it depends on the attendee's circumstances.
